wifi router and peer2peer/chat room problmes

hi all,
just got a belkin wifi router.... all good.
expect whenever i use bearshare or lime wire or even enter chatrooms my computer displays a blue screen with something about physical dump memery for like half a second, than it restarts. any ideas why this happens.
