Windows 2000 Professional gave me a BSOD , "can't find boot device"

I booted from CD and ran recovery console and used command to fix the boot (not fixmbr that scares me!)

Upon booting again I get:
BSOD --- STOP: c000026c (Unable to load a device driver)
\SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\winachcf.sys device driver could not be loaded.
Error Status was 0xc0000221

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I just did that and have a screen with a box that says (in the bar) "Windows 2000 Setup ' and then - "Please wait..." it seems to be hanging there.

It finally asked me to insert mywindow 200 Professional installation cd. I inserted what I have, the Dell Reinstallation cd W2K + SP1

Then it gives another dialog box:

Files needed
The file 'NT5INF.CAT on Wndows 2000 Professional CD-ROM is needed.

Type the path and then click ok.

Copy files from:
D:\I386 (default)

Clicking ok j ust returns the same screen.
