hi guys,

i'm looking to create a new partition on my hard drive, but dont know how to do it.

at the minute, i'm running XP, but i would like to partition my hard drive so i can install Vista and have the option to run either XP or Vista.

any tips would be appreciated

there is nothing in windows xp that allows partition resizing

some programs that will do it, include partition magic (commercial) or Qpartd, which you can download as part of the system rescue cd
