I have dial-up at home. it runs usually at 46.6 Kbps. but recently it has changed alittle. it is now around 42.5 Kbps and it is quite annoying. I am running Zonealarm and and have performed full cleanups with cleanup, smitrem, hijackthis and ad-aware and zonealarm but nothing. all it does is fix the connection problem.

help me...

Dial-Up Modems are fickle and it doesn't take much to knock them back to a slower speed. This can be a sign of a tempamental modem or a intermittent line issue. But for what its worth, I doubt its much to worry about.

The alternative of course is to go broadband :whistling:
