Acces the internet during search

When I open explorer and go to the directory such as "C:\", I perform a directory search.
At that point a display window appears saying { "Windows Explorer is attempting to access the Internet"
Symantec Client Firewall. Nomatter what I do that same screen will appear even If I
click "Automatically configure internet access"} OK. when I close the directory cancel and access the web
(internet explorer) it disappears.

post a hijackthis log. Need to see if you have spyware interfering. also have you run liveupdate to make sure Norton is completly updated?
