i got a microsoft online crash analysis tha says i have one of the following viruses on my computer: Win32/Apropos.B, WinNT/Zufyx.A, Spyware.Apropos.C, Trojan.Win32.Crypt.t. It gave directions to fix it in safe mode but when i follow the directions and get in safe mode it doesn't show that i have access to the internet. i need to go to windows live safety center on internet explorer but can't get there. i have verizon dsl, a compaq computer with 256mb and windows xp. i'm not very computer smart :whistling: but hopefully i can follow some simple directions! thank you in advance for any help with this issue.
p.s. i have teenage sons that downloaded from kazaa  so i'm sure that could be a source of problems. also i have norton.

This is how we deal with malware here

Please follow the procedures outlined here: Malware Removal Guide

You will need a PC which can connect to the internet

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log in a new topic in the Malware Forum

For the purpose of accurate malware analysis, Hijack This Logs are only dealt with in the Malware Forum. Posting them anywhere else will result in a delayed response

If you are unable to run any of the programmes, please ask for advice in the Malware Forum

You will only get on the internet in safe mode with networking, though do check your firewall and anti virus is on
