You are trying to repair XP, not install it, so check the guide again

I reliase that ,but also dough if a repair of xp will fix the problems with nero and other problems user is having that a fresh install will .bye bye

I pointed it out because you would only see the newer version screen if you were trying to use an SP1 CD on an SP2 install, so something had gone wrong with the repair, and Nero can be uninstalled to run the repair, or even replaced with a different programme
