I scanned into my computer a text/graphic document (HP scanneer). The document comes out as a Adobe (Pdf) document. I sent it to a friend to publish in a newsletter and he asks me to re-send in in something other than Pdf. format.

How do I do this???

thanks,
Tim

Does your scanner give you options for the programme it will scan to

You can get the text out easily enough to put in a Word document, but would need a programme to get the images, unless you scan the images only and insert those into the Word document

I checked it further and my scanner does give me the option of opening the document with other programs.
