Hi,

I use winxp and of late my laptop has become very slow. Whenever I restore a minimized window it starts processing and takes ages for the window to become active. The hard disc light comes on and stays on for about a minute. This is happening too often now.

I have run spybot and it hasnt come up with any problem.

Another problem is that when i boot my system win32 window pops up and says NTVDM cpu has encountered a problem. Ihave really no idea what is happening with my system.

Please help!

Regards,

Bubble

Hi,

I posted a problem a few days back but nobody answered...guess this is one of the usual topics that you get bombarded with everyday.

Anyway, I did some research and was able to clean a virus....I ran Symantec online scan.

I think there is still some problem. I did a Panda scan and it showed some files. I deleted sysfind.exe.
Am attaching the report and also the HJT log.

Please help me clean up this mess.
