Slow computer/nonresponsive buttons [CLOSED] HJT log inside/virus disguised as a codec?

I've been having problems with a slower computer, but more importantly I can't press any buttons in Firefox! (I tried logging in with it and nothing happened when I pressed the 'Log In' button) I'm so frightened that my laptop will crash again, I've already had to replace its harddrive once. I ran all the scanning programs and some things it found, it couldn't delete. I have a HJT log, Panda log, and Enwido log. Please help me? I'll post the HJT.

EDIT: I can't access iTunes either. It says it's locked or I don't have permission or something. Also, this is the message I get on Firefox when I try to do anything, like use a button.

Hello gwhoosh....I do not see any malware in your log. Have you scanned with your system's Ewido program? Does it show any infections?

Your Java is out of date, and we'll correct that in a minute.

With regard to your Firefox problems, I found this in the MozillaZine as a reference:

It takes you through the typical problems that generate the error message you are reporting and I believe has a diagnostic tool (but then again, I'm not a software expert and G2G has other forums for you to seek help such as this one that deals with internet and browsers). I'm not so sure your Firefox problems are malware related.

1. Go here and download and install JRE 5.0 Update 7. Click the link that says Download JRE 5.0 Update 7. You will then need to select Accept License Agreement and click the Continue button that is beside it. Then click the link that says Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language. Save it to your Desktop. Then go back to your Desktop and double click jre-1_5_0_07-windows-i586-p.exe to start the install.

Once you have it installed, click Start>>Control Panel>>Add or Remove Programs. From the program list, uninstall:
  • Java version jre1.5.0_03
  • Java version j2re1.4.2_03

  • Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
  • A new window will open...click the Check Now button
  • Enter your Country
  • Enter your State/Province
  • Enter your e-mail address and click send
  • Select either Home User or Company
  • Click the big Scan Now button
  • If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
  • It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
  • When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan
  • When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location. Post the contents of the ActiveScan report
