I thought I had a problem with Quicktime not installing. But I
just realized it has nothing to do with Quicktime, it has to do with the
letter "Q". If I download anything that starts with the
letter "Q" it gives a message that says "(filename) doesn't exist. It may have been renamed, moved or deleted since it was downloaed" and won't save to computer. If I open a
notepad and try to save it with a name starting with Q, I go where I saved
it at and it isn't their. If I take a file that is already on my computer
and rename it anything that starts with a "Q" when I hit enter to save it
the file just vanishes. If I install a program, any files or folders that
start with "Q" don't save to my computer, does anybody have a solution to
this? I've done a virus scan, used Ad-aware and Hiijack this but everythhing seems fine, any solutions? Thanks in advance

when you rename your files do they change to different icon and thats when you lose your file or whatever it is you changed the name. remember the actual name whether it capitals or number or has a under score cause when your file the icon changes and you try to open file and you get something like windows cannot find this file do you wish to search the internet or browse youself. just go back to the icon file you change remember the original file name.change it back to that name and your file will be restored

Hi lvubun...

This really IS a wierd one.... :whistling:

Just out of curiosity, Do a Search, searching all files and folders. Make sure to search hidden files and folders, too. As the search criteria (search for) use simply the letter Q. See what comes up.
