I cant get rid of norton av completely, i have downloaded and used symnrt.exe and manually deleted many files
but ZoneAlarm still shows "ccapp" as "symantec user session" in C:\program files\common files\symantec shared\ccApp.exe.
I cant find the file or folder. I run patrol and still find nil. If i remove it with ZoneAlarm it re-appears after a reboot. All i can do is block it on ZoneAlarm. I have show hidden files and even hide extensions and protected files but nothing.
This is not affecting the running of my pc but it like a clean.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Sano

Sorry should this be in the windows xp etc section, if so could you move it or will i repost?

Hi sano...

Try the steps listed HERE. With the exception, of course, of reinstalling the Norton.
