Lately I have developed an issue I can't seem to resolve. The PC in my bedroom cannot obtain an IP address. I see the attempt on the router, but I can't manage to connect. When I connect directly to the router everything works fine.

I thought it might be the cable, so I puty on new connectors. Teh cable test came back fine and, as I said I can see the access on the router. Any ideas?

Is DHCP enabled on the router?

Is the PC set to obtain an ip address automatically?

The answer is yes to both questions. The system in my office works fine and the wireless connection in the bedroom is fine as well. It is only when I connect the router (through wall cabling) that I get the above issue.
