I have a Dell Dimension 2400 running WindowsXP Home edition hooked up to a cable modem that is using a USB cable but can use an Ethernet RJ45 jack if reprogramed. I want to network it with my daughters MacBook.
What type of router should I buy? What type of cables? What steps do I take so we both can share our cable modem?

Thanks,
