Okay, I'm on a different computer now and do not have access to my laptop at the moment. I am "mom2dylkay" and have posted my log but no response. My computer has slowed down (laptop). It is a new Toshiba Satellite A100/A105 (I'll have to look up which one). It was working like a charm until around June 14th or 15th when my son went to music.yahoo.com and viewed a music video. He did forget to plug it back in but it went into standby mode. My husband plugged it in the next morning. I have ran virus scans and it is virus free and it also has been cleaned of spyware. I rebooted in safe mode and it is still running slow. It'll run for a few seconds fine and then it takes forever (5-10 seconds) to response to your request. Do I have a lemon? It won't allow me to go back to a restore point earlier than June 20th. I have followed the instructions to a tee to see about all the logs that are on your "start here" page. I need someone to tell me what to do step by step. I know just enough about computers to probably get me into trouble. I also posted a message about my main computer (this one) having the spysherrif malware but no one has helped me with that either. Spysheriff can wait. I want my laptop to be in great working condition again.

Thanks,

mom2dylkay
