I backed up data from a tax program onto a CDRom from a computer with Win2000 Pro operating system

My Win XP o/s computer will not read the disk...is there a program or utility out there that I can use to make this disk read with Win XP Pro?

what do you mean it wont read the disk? does it give you an error when you try to open it with my computer? or does it just open blank? that sounds more like you burned the cd wrong instead of it being a prob with t he os

I used Roxio 7 drag to disk to backup the files to CD. I always make sure the CD can be read by other computers.
When I put it in my laptop I got a message that said it needed a file from Roxio 7 in order to be read, so I installed R7 in my laptop and the cd still won't read.
