Hi all, im looking for some/one good program that puts me in controll of startup, like after i see the welcome screen, those programs that start to load in the tray and the "Hidden" ones also. I know about msconfig but im looking for what that has graphics of the icons, like i get confused sometimes when it says hklm/%systemroot%........... If anyone know of a good freeware that lets me be in control of the startup, i would be much obliged to know of one :whistling: Thanks, Nic

Hello again nic777,

I bet I got the perfect program for you. It is called Win Patrol. Not only does it give you control of startup items, but sometimes it can give you a description of it. In addition, it will monitor any changes, such as if you get a new startup program.
