Hey, I'm using firefox for a few months now. But only recetly I'm getting popups.
Firefox says it has prevented of opening a popup but the popup has opend anyway. does anyone has the same thing happening?
btw I'm running the latest version "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; nl-NL; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050226 Firefox/1.0.1"

well first do you have a pop-up blocker installed on your computer? also do you run programs checking for spyware such as ad-aware or spybot search and destroy? programs like these can eliminate spyware which does cause pop-ups...good luck

Well I thought firefox had an pop-up blocker in it.
Programs I use to check for spyware is ad-aware and SpywareBlaster? I don't use spybot search and destroy becaus the last time i used it I deleted to much and had to reinstall my OS.
(I'm also running Norton.)
