please help me settle this, is this a male of female connector?

ok. my friend (JOE) and i are having a debate as to whether this power connector is male or female. its a 24pin ATX power connector on a FOXCONN 945G7MA Motherboard. im not gonna say what i think it is so when he reads this, he doesnt think ur answers are biased. thank you. Erick.Posted Image

Hi E-Dub...

Technically, the 24 pin power connector is a male as it contains the pins. The IDE connectors are also male connectors while the Ram slots are female.

I am not a "geek" as such, but even I can see this is male. I see the pins, which suggests male. No? *shrugs*
