Since I don't work with Windows ME, I'm having another tech take a look at this and have him tell you what to do next. Hold patiently. :whistling:

When you did the registry search and it found UpperFilters, what was the registry key associated with that entry?

Name: upperfilters Data: USBNTMAP.SYS

It was in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Enum\USB\VID_0781&PID_7400\0781025B130803A3.

But what is the key it's associated with? In Registry Editor, navigate to the key that contains the UpperFilters string. Click "Edit" on the toolbar and choose "Copy Key Name". Paste that information here for me...there are several devices that use upper and lower filters in ME, we need to make sure we get the right key.

Err, I already did. But again, it's HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Enum\USB\VID_0781&PID_7400\0781025B130803A3.

It's also in another called: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Enum\USB\VID_0781&PID_7400\0781025B1407010F

Yup...That's not the upper filters we want.

I'm trying to get my ME machine back up and running...it seems to have developed a RAM problem. Let me get it running so I can have a ME registry to look through. :whistling:

Well, that's the only upper filters I have, or at least that's showing.

Well just let me know when you get it up and running. And if anyone else knows what my problem may be, please help me out.
