thanks for all your help. i did a scan using my norton anti virus and yeah i think my computer's pretty clean now but i still can enable it's auto-protect. do you know what's happening?

i took your advise and i think i'm gonna start using firefox now. but what do you mean by:
Install Sun's Java. It's much more secure than Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine

i am doing some programming in java and i thought i did install sun's java :tazz:

Hi nickyheah

You may have to uninstall norton. when you have uninstaled the program delete the folder that have been left behind.

Then reintall norton see if that works.
