I have a MMDS connection (512/256) and I can download at 440 and upload between 1-60.

So, I can navigate, but any file transfer seems to stuck for a while and sometimes it keep doing until complete.

Motorola SurfBoard 4200

Downstream Value
Frequency 405000000 Hz Locked
Signal to Noise Ratio 30 dB
Power Level 10 dBmV

Upstream Value
Channel ID 2
Frequency 28496556 Hz Ranged
Power Level 43 dBmV

With it, I believe that levels are good (at least inside specifications).

I tried ping my gateway and I realize that pinging small size packets do good, but as it grows, it start lost packets.

I tried with my other computer (another network board) and at winxp and linux, but all of then gave same results.

I used Ethereal and it show me a lot of retransmission.

But now, I'me stucked. I don't no what else to do.

Can you help me?

Greetings,

What is your MTU packet size?

TweakMaster shows:

MTU: 1500 (set as autodetect)
TCP Receive Window: 65535
Window Scaling: disabled
Selective Acknowledgements: disabled

The best MTU autodetected by TweakMaster is 1500.
