When i load the computer, the virus scanner kicks in and 'my documents' also opens up onto the desktop. i have checked the folder properties etc, and cannot seem to find a way of stopping it from automaticllay opening (like in msn messenger, you can click an option for it not to run automatically when you start windows)

because my itunes is based in my 'my documents' folder, it is making the system start up slowly.

can you help?

Hey there victoriajcook, welcome to Geeks to Go Forums.

To fix this goto:
> Start
> All Programs
> Startup

If you look in the startup folder, you may see "my documents" in there, delete it, it is just a shortcut. Let me know if you got it working...

Cool :whistling:
