Computer crashing, rebooting with mapped drives

I have a computer on our network that will decide to reboot itself when going to the server through a mapped drive in explorer. It doesn't do it everytime, but is getting more frequent. I have run anti-virus through the computer and the folders of the mapped drive to the server. Any help or suggestions are more than welcome.

O.S. Windows 2000.......windows 2000 server
