Hello, I got Kaspersky and its pretty good, but its blocking attacks which worries me... Here's what it says..

Seems to be talking about Microsoft SQL Server 2000... I am running home edition...

hey,
are you on a personal computer or a server, because of all the articles i have read regarding this issue it only seems like it affects server based computers no one personal computer. If you are on a server then follow the advice below, if not just ignore it.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread

I am running a personal computer, I know this won't affect me, but I had that alerts are popping up and that someone is trying to attack my computer...

Any idea how? :S

from what i can tell it shouldn't be happening, or i should say from what i have read. I'd get someone to annalize a hijackthis log from you in the malware forum, because Kaspersky doesn't lie.

I just closed that port and it stoped. Cheers though. :whistling:
