Hi,

I have loaded BF2 and I hear the sound but no graphics.

I assume it is my video card (I have Saphire Radeon x800 GT)

The thing is I used to have a Radeon 300 which played the game okay.

Any advice on a fix would be appreciated.

I have a Sapphire X800 GTO (which isn't on your list Chris) and it works for me.

John, do you have all the latest drivers and DirectX?

Also, what are the rest of your system specs (for general knowledge)?

When it loads, do you see the opening credits and movie? Or is that when the problem starts?

The list i gave is the set of Radeon graphics cards the game has been tested with,i had a n-vidia Geforce 5200 before and that Card wasnt tested for the game but i could play the game no prob, but the graphics were a-bit choppy if u know what i mean, but the 5200 didnt support the 1.4 pixel shader,so i had to buy a 6200,i have all my settings at mediam and it runs smooth, but i have to play on UK,or european servers due to lagg issues, but ive never had a radeon card before so i dont know what has the 1.4 pixel shaders.

Make sure that your video card drivers are all up to date by going to their website and downloading the latest version of Catalyst. Also make sure that your DirectX version is up to date (9.0c).

Let us know if that works.
