I cannot get any of my wireless (two desktops and one laptop) to connect to a WPA encrypted connection. I can only find WEP encryption under wireless networks>my SSID>properties.

If I enable a WPA key on my router, then select the connection on my computer and type in the password the response is that it has to be a certain ASCII or Hexidecimal string. I belive that only is for WEP and not WPA. I have XP SP2.

Hi old crow,

Please read the following MS Article in regards to setting up WPA on Windows XP computers: How to Secure Your Wireless Home Network with Windows XP. You may also need to manually download and install the Windows XP Support Patch for Wi-Fi Protected Access.
