Can't download or watch media (nvm)

My downloads will stop very early on. I have tried downloading from loads of other sites and still get the same problem. I can't stream any media because it too stops at the beginning, even if I try watching these videos in WMP. I have just recently had this problem and I have had this laptop for months and not had anything like this happen to it. I do not believe it is any virus or malware because I do not go to sites like those and I know what caused this. My laptop was frozen so I had to unplug and take the battery out.

edit: sheit. I think it was my network prevention from Kaspersky AntiVirus that I usually have turned off. sorry to waste your time
