Hi ched27

Welcome to the forums! ;)

You are running HijackThis from the Desktop; please create a new folder for it and move the program into the new folder

Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:

O2 - BHO: NavHelper Class - {C1E58A84-95B3-4630-B8C2-D06B77B7A0FC} - C:\Program Files\NavExcel\NavHelper\v2.0.4d\NHelper.dll
O2 - BHO: Helper Class - {D80C4E21-C346-4E21-8E64-20746AA20AEB} - C:\Program Files\NavExcel Search Toolbar\NavExcelBar.dll
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {2CDE1A7D-A478-4291-BF31-E1B4C16F92EB} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: NavExcel Toolbar - {5AA06644-BC46-4220-A460-47A6EB47C96D} - C:\Program Files\NavExcel Search Toolbar\NavExcelBar.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [vmss] C:\WINDOWS\System32\vmss\vmss.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [windows] C:\WINDOWS\system32\windows.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [navapp] C:\Program Files\NavExcel\NavHelper\v2.0.4d\navapp.exe

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Reboot into Safe Mode: please see here if you are not sure how to do this.

Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\vmss\vmss.exe<--Delete the whole folder
C:\WINDOWS\system32\windows.exe<--Delete this file
C:\Program Files\NavExcel\NavHelper\v2.0.4d\navapp.exe<--Delete the whole folder

Exit Explorer, and reboot as normal afterwards.

Please run the following free, online virus scans.

http://www.pandasoft...n_principal.htm
http://housecall.tre.../start_corp.asp

Please post the logs From both virus scans and HJT.log we will need them to remove previous infections that have left files on your system.
