Windows Media Player 11?

Hello, I downloaded yesterday windows media player 11. Since then when I am trying to run it my pc sometimes crashes / freezes. Sometimes it will open but my internet browser and p2p freeze immediately. I was wondering is there a way of unistall it ? Any other solutions maybe? My pc was operating really well before that installation. Thank you for your help.

Click start, control panel, add and remove, tick show updates and it should be listed

If you uninstall it, click start then run, type prefetch then press enter, click edit, select all, right click any file, click delete, confirm and reboot before running WMP 10
