Hey all,
One of my hard drives won't load when i reboot. I have to keep going into the Device Manager and do "Scan for hardware changes" for it to show up but once i reboot, it goes away again.

The drive is a Seagate, i tried their diagnostic tool to see if the drive has a problem but the test didn't come up with anything.

I also formatted the drive using the Disk Management in Control Panel but still no luck.

By the way, i pulled this drive from my old PC and hooked it up to this one, it was a slave drive in the old as it is in this one also. It never did this on my old machine though.

I'm using Win XP Pro Sp2 if that helps, i have 4 hard drives, 2 on IDEs (the one that doesn't work is the slave one) and 2 SATAs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx
