My DVD-RW drive does not detect blank disc. When I use copy/paste, I get the CD writing wizard and click on next. the message I get is There is no disc in drive. Please insert a writable CD into drive E. I also tried CD Creator and drag to disk and I get the message Please Insert a disk in drive E. I have copied disk for over 2 years now in this drive and never had a problem until recently. I am able to copy onto a DVD disk but not a CD. This drive recognizes audio disk and will play them back. I have a brand new package of Memorex CD's and I thought it was them at first but I was able to use them on another computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver. I have made sure that the regedit value for this drive is set at 2. I have made sure that the recording tab shows under properties for this drive and is enabled. I am enclosing a copy from HijackThis also. Thank you for any help.
