Problem shutting down computer

Hi there, recently when i try to shut down my computer
it seems everything is going normal but my computer gets stuck at the windows logo screen
it also dosen't say anything like logging off, saving settings, etc.
so i was wondering if there is anything wrong with my computer
any help well be welcomed thanks

Can you use Ctrl+Alt+Del to reveal what is not shutting down. Look at the Event Viewer in the Administraive Tools at reboot next time it happens.

i tried rebooting and the same thing happened
when i look at the event viewer under applications it says
i have 3 errors and the source is WinMgmt
so what do you or others suggest i do

Run the following
Start> Run> sfc /scannow Be sure nad leave a space after sfc.

i ran the scan and it appears to have found nothing
it just closed when it was done
i think i might run the scan later
is there anything else you suggest i should do

hi there again

but after about 15 minutes it turns off so i
was wondering if this is good or bad for my computer

It is not bad for your computer. It just means your program is hanging at shut down.

is there anyway to see what program/s are making my
computer hang during shutdown
