can't attach photos to Yahoo emails

I used to have no problem attaching photos to Yahoo emails. However, now when I go to attach, no matter where the photo is located [on my hard drive or on a cd] I get an "invalid file specified .. please try again" error message. I'm running IE 6 on an XP Home laptop. The interesting thing is that I CAN attach photos using Gmail, but NOT Yahoo.

Any thoughts ?? Thanks in advance ....
