i recently bought a seagate 200GB HDD, i pluged it in my computer and it doesnt show up....it says found new hardware etc..... it also reads it in th BIOS....... but for some reason it doesnt show up in my computer.... any ideas y? is it hardware or software problem?

It won't show up in My Computer until it's formatted.

Right click My Computer> Manage> Disk Management

Right click the drive and format. I prefer logical drive for a strictly data/programs drive.
