I have an old computer (NTOLL) it has IE 5.0 installed in windows 98se but I have a cable modem (RR)
that says I have to have IE 5.5 or above. So now I can't get IE6.0 to install without internet and I can't get internet without IE6.0 so I'm between the rock and the hard place. And I'm no computer wizard! :whistling:

If you have a cd player, sometimes you can update from an AOL CD, PeoplePC or anyone of the many you get through the mail. Local Wal-Mart here has AOL just for picking up free. Can always uninstall it after you go to Micro$oft's download site and download/save I.E. and get all the other stuff you might need.
