Problems opening a Microsoft Word document

Hello,

I have a problem with a particular Word document which i was sent as an email attachment.

When opening the attachment the document appears for about 10 seconds then a command prompt appears briefly on the screen before dissapearing and closing Word.

I can open the attachment on other computers but not my own.

Any ideas what could be causing this?
