Windows XP,

recently the internet has been affecting computer problems, such as Ad-aware not being able to update. It keeps popping up an error. I am currently consulting Lavasoft about this.

The internet itself, seems to be fine, but some pages, like Hotmail, takes ages to load, and images will not load.

Programs such as limewire cannot connect.

Programs such as msn still connects.

I am extremely puzzled.

edit: The internet itself is fine, but when using browsers, or any type of "Connect to internet" It goes extremely slow, usually times out.

What type of internet connection do you have? When did this start? Have you made any changes to your system recently?

It started about 1 week ago.

We have Shaw Cable internet.

And the only recent change was getting an upgrade on my brothers video card.

This is only happening on my brothers computer. He uses Firefox, and the internet is extremely slow. Some pages manage to load, everything else times out.
