My Drive D has worked perfectly up until today. I don't know if it is virus or what. The CD spins but won't open automatically or manually. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no success. Sometime it says no disc in drive. Device manager states there is no problem. Could it be from a virus? Please help!!!!

Yes the DVD/CD rom is listed. It does open when i push the button, the CD itself won't run.

When I insert the disc it spins for a brief time but nothing appears on the screen. So I tried clicking on my computer and double clicking on Drive D and I get nothing.

in device manger, right click the drive and choose uninstall

reboot the PC and let Windows reinstall it automatically
