virus on CDs?

this is what ive heard, but im not sure if its true. is it true that viruses cannot be burned onto CDs??

Viruses can definitely be burned onto CD's. Be careful of unknown CD's you put into your computer, and make sure that your antivirus is up to date.

And disable auto play. When that is turned on, any cd you stick in has carte blanche to do whatever it wants. Not only will you protect yourself from malware, but from nuisance drive by installs, too. Always inspect the contents of a cd yourself, no matter where it came from, and when given a choice, use the "custom install" instead of "typical".
