My wife uses IE (I'm switching her over to Firefox), but it's been hijacked and I haven't had any luck repairing it. Any link will first lead to a random webiste, but after hitting 'back', the link will take you to the correct adress when pressed again. I've run AboutBuster, CWShredder, and CleanUp as per the instructions with no luck. Also, just as the computer reboots, the windows update shield appears for a few seconds, then dissapears. Clicking on it yields no results.

When I click on 'info on selected item', many of the processes have references to 'NewDotNet' .dll's and other items that don't appear to be related (I'm not entirely framiliar with what they SHOULD be referencing, so this might not mean anything). For instance, the info for the ituneshelper.exe reads:

I don't see a 'newdotnet' program anywhere!?!?!?

I have adaware and norton antivirus. My windows firewall in on and has no exceptions.
