Any help on this would be much appriecated. I recently just reinstalled Windows, everything's deleted and everything went back to it's default settings. I tried using Outlook Express 6 again but it didn't work. Any tips or some kind of tutorial on how to solve this would be helpful, thanks.

Hey Dark Puma,

Well i guess the first thing to check is to make sure that your incoming and outgoing servers are correct, smtp being out and pop3 being the incoming server. Also, make sure that your email service allows for email clients like outlook/thunderbird.

Also, check the username and password to make sure it is correct. Also, if it is a work email and you are trying to use it at home, it may not work because you are not on the office network

Let me know how it goes.
