Howdy †Gladiator†...

If you can see the folders in XP, Take Ownership to recover them.

When you want to have a file on both systems, copy them over using removable media. At least that's the only way I've been able to do it on the Vista build I'm using so far.

Happy Birthday!

Thx a lot

Your method worked splendidly, but being a 17 yr old I couldn't help but kept on messing around, and i think i found a work around to the problem. I set the ownership in Vista to everyone, and in XP under the folder/share options I checked the "set folder as priviledged" (sry i am running a different language xp, but that's the idea) and was able to get all the files back and also acess them in Vista. (Don't know why it works, but it does!)

Anyway hope this might help some other ppl

Cool!

I'll have to give your method for file sharing between the two systems a try.

Glad things are are back as they should be! :whistling:
