Programs feezing, browser redirects, HELP!

I was recently infected by something, not sure what. Many of my programs now feeze if I try to use them - including Ad-Aware, Norton, EEliminator, and others. I cannot sign into secure pages, and cannot access my System 32 folder AT ALL - EVERY TIME I try to access the System 32 folder the computer totally freezes and I must close Windows or completely re-boot to get going again. Since I cannot do much else, I did run HJT and posted the log below. Thanks ahead of time!

Incidently, the fan goes on when thigs are about to get bad, or when I try to access the System 32 folder.

I was just able to run Norton on the System 32 folder, had not been able to previously. It freezes at a file called "xpsp2res.dll"
