Hello all, my computer was infected (seems to be clean now), I installed a new NIC (the old one went south). But I'm getting "The Page cannot be displayed" message when I click on ie.

I'm also getting the following Rundll error message after bootup: "Error loading we711740.dll The specified module could not be found."

I don't know if this has something to do with it or not.

TIA

Tex

P.S all the lights are "ON" on the NIC.

OK, WinsockXpFix did not work, nor did Start, Run, netsh winsock reset. So maybe there's a virus there after all. Will post in proper forum.
