there were problems with my hard drive so i tried reinstalling windows.. but when i enter the setup for xp, it says "setup did not find any hard disk drives" ... i have no idea why it does that because when i enter BIOS my primary master drive says its the western digital 80 gb hard drive.. my jumper is set on master. i also tried putting the hard disk in my old computer as a slave drive and my old computer detects it as another D drive.. so i formatted it making sure everything is deleted and i tried putting it back to the new computer but i still get the same error message saying there was no hard disk detected. what could the problem be? thanks in advance

Try changing out your BIOS (motherboard) battery. $4 at Walmart.
