I recently did a "System Recovery" for an HP Pavilion Computer, using Windows XP. Since then I cannot access my desktop.. A little window pops up that says:
Desktop
C:\Documents and Settings/Owner/Desktop is not accessible
Access is denied.

I also seem to be having problems with web browsing and downloading.

I cannot bid on e-bay, and I cannot check my email at hotmail.com.

I would really appreciate anykind of help you can offer.
If not I will have to pay a fee for HP to help with my trouble shooting, and technical problems, as my warentee has expired!!

Thanx!
