Strange Yahoo! messenger problem

Ok,heres the problem.A few weeks ago,my yahoo! messenger started quiting if i right-click or click any stuff like smilies,audibles etc. I tried re-installing it a no. of times and installed different versions but the problem still persists.When i right-click anything,it closes.When i login again it shows me the message-
"Yahoo! messenger quited unexpectedly,upon reopening it has loaded ur plug-ins in safe mode"
I really need help on this 1.
