My friend is thinking about getting a Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty for his computer. He is an hardcore gamer, and the reviews he has read are excellent. He says it is specially made for gaming, but he wants me to ask you guys if it is a good sound card for gaming and listening to music. I have it and I think it is awesome, but I would also like your opinions.
So, what do you guys think?

well i think it's an amazing sound card, just make sure you goolge the mobo specs to make sure that theirs no known problems with compatibility. Some ppl complain about crackling and poping noises with the x fi cards.
If you are a hard core gamer than x fi will be amazing, your fps should drop by 5-10% because of the dedicated ram on the sound card and the millions of transistors.
