I have been trying to download many things lately and when I click on the link to the download, the page pops up with:

"HTTP403 Forbidden

You are not athorized to veiw this page."

It happens every time I try downloading music, or programs. I have zonealarm and have set the cookie control to 'medium' and turn on the firewall. I need serious help!

Please and Thankyou :whistling:

where are you trying to download these things from, exactly? Knowing that might help. :whistling:

You still havent given any real information so that you can get help. You need to provide us with information.

If I tell you that my car rattles when I go here and do that, you cant possibly know what the problem is.

Give us links, specific information. If you cant do that, we cant help you.

Also, one more such rude outburst and you wont be getting anything here.

OK. Here is an example of my download problems...
I went to the site http://www.8notes.com and followed some links to a download page for manuscript paper in PDF format. I clicked the download link and got the page with the message, "HTTP403 FORBIDDEN, You are unauthorized to view this page." I can't really say anything else...

I have tried lowering the firewall, and other things but nothing works. I have Zonealarm cookie control on medium and firewall on medium.

That's really all I can say. :whistling:

Yes that is correct...

I have a dial-up connection with Iprimus, and it usually runs at about 44.6 Kbps. But that doesn't matter to much now because it has been disconnected- so I still just need to know what caused it and how to stop it anyway. thankyou
